2nd X-Men: Apocalypse Trailer Released

May is going to be a huge month for superhero films as we will be getting both Captain America: Civil War, but also FOX’s latest X-Men installment with the highly anticipated X-Men: Apocalypse. Today 20th Century Fox dropped the 2nd trailer for the new X-Men film as our beloved mutants goes up against the first mutant and maybe the most powerful one: Apocalypse. Check out the trailer right now below.

“X-Men: Apocalypse: Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

Bryan Singer’s X-Men Apocalypse – starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Olivia Munn, Evan Peters, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Lucas Till, Josh Helman, Lana Condor, Ben Hardy – is slated to come out in theaters on May 27, 2016.

Simon Kinberg wrote the screenplay for X-Men: Apocalypse with story by Bryan Singer, Simon Kinberg, Michael Dougherty & Dan Harris.

X-Men: Apocalypse was produced by Simon Kinberg, Hutch Parker and Lauren Shuler Donner.”
