FIDM Exhibit Showcases Ghost Rider Costume, Ann Foley Gets Streamy Nomination

West coast fans of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD waiting for the return of the show can get their fix at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles which is currently hosting Ann Foley’s costumes. The stars of Agents of SHIELD turned out to celebrate former SHIELD designer Foley’s inclusion and a look at Gabriel Luna’s Ghost Rider costume.

That same costume has taken the cosplay world by storm. It makes it fitting that FIDM took the time to honor it. Ghost Rider was the breakout character of Season 4 and while it remains to be seen if he’ll return for Season 5, this should give fans a cool look at the character.

Foley’s accolades continue with the announcement that she was nominated for a Streamy for Slingshot in costume design. The Slingshot series has been critically acclaimed and is nominated for multiple awards including an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Short Form Comedy or Drama Series. Slingshot is just plain fun and it deserves all of the recognition, as does Foley and her talented team. Here’s hoping that Marvel can give Slingshot a season 2!

Make sure to check out Foley’s work at FIDM and on Slingshot before tuning in to the Streamy Awards on September 26th on Twitter to see if she’ll take home her rightfully deserved an award.

You can catch the FIDM exhibit from August 22nd to October 7th in Los Angeles. The exhibit will also feature costumes from This is Us, The Handmaid’s Tale and other 2016-2017 productions. The Streamys will host their award ceremony on October 4th, 2017. Are you excited by this news? Hoping to get a look at Robbie’s costume and see Ann Foley win her award?
