New Defenders Clip Showcases The Daughters Of The Dragon!

The hype for The Defenders is very real with Netflix dropping new clips from the show to countdown to the premiere on Friday.  While some of these clips showcase some very frightening connections, others hint at things that fans have been asking for. Fans have been pushing for Misty Knight (Simone Missick) and Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick) to work together in a Daughters of the Dragon spin off since Iron Fist hit Netflix. And it looks like we may get a taste of this comic book team up! Check out the clip below.

With news that Luke Cage star Missick will be joining Iron Fist season 2, seeing more of Misty and Colleen together seems like a real possibility. The clip hints at plenty of future adventures for this team to be a part of as they work with Danny Rand (Finn Jones) to keep New York City safe.

In the comics, Misty and Colleen work together much like Luke and Danny.  Operating “Knightwing Restorations” the duo deals with solving crimes and rescuing individuals.  In a city where the Hand is kidnapping children for nefarious purposes (as pointed out in Daredevil season 2) the Daughters of the Dragon would have plenty to do in a solo outing.

The demand for a Daughters of the Dragon series is unbelievably high.  The moment this clip dropped Twitter has been abuzz hoping that Misty and Colleen would continue to work together in Iron Fist and beyond.  It seems like what we’ve seen so far is more than just a tease thanks to these two new images that also appeared on the internet, apparently from the same scene.  The Daughters of the Dragon are rising!

Are you ready to see Colleen and Misty team up? Sound off and share in the comments below and don’t forget to watch The Defenders on Netflix August 18th, 2017!
