SyFy recently sat down with Stan Lee to discuss his upcoming appearance at Extraordinary: Stan Lee next week in Beverly Hills, CA. Their chat with the Marvel Comics legend included a number of topics ranging from his favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe cameo to which character he’d like to see get their own solo outing on the big screen and much more. So, which of his many cameos was actually his favorite of the bunch? Lee revealed to the outlet that it’s actually the one from 2015’s Avengers: Age Of Ultron.

“Oh yeah, my favorite is when I’m drinking with Thor in the second Avengers movie.  When I was with him at the bar and he was drinking a strong drink from Asgard. And I told him, ‘Hey, let me have a sip. And he says, ‘No, it’s too strong for you.’ I’m like, ‘C’mon!’ So I take a sip, and the next scene, they’re carrying me out. The reason that one is my favorite of the ones I’ve done is that it’s the one cameo I’ve done that has two scenes. I figure that’s making me more of an actor. Pretty soon I’ll have three scenes then I’ll have four, and before you know it, I’ll be starring in a movie.”

As for the character that Lee is hoping gets their own solo film? Well, Lee wants to see The Silver Surfer get his own time to shine (pun intended) and even already has ideas for a cameo appearance.

“He’s the one I want to see more.  He’s the most philosophical of all the characters I’ve ever worked on. And I have an idea for my cameo in that one!”

While there’s no word if we will see the character again anytime soon, maybe there is a chance of it with Fox looking to re-launch the Fantastic Four on the big screen. And here’s hoping Stan gets his wish to make a cameo in the film if it does happen. Let us know what you think about Lee’s comments and which of his cameos if your personal favorite in the comments section below.
