As Marvel’s upcoming Captain Marvel film gears up to start production soon, we’ve got some small but cool news regarding the film crew being assembled for the Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck directed project. Marvel Studios has tapped Oscar nominated production designer Andy Nicholson as the production designer. Nicholson is best known for his work on Gravity, which scored him the previously mentioned nomination, but also was the production designer on last year’s Assassin’s Creed as well as the upcoming Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom.

This also wouldn’t be the first time that Nicholson has worked with Marvel Studios before as he was the art director on the Joe Johnston directed Captain America: The First Avenger. Let us know what you think about this addition in the comments section below.

Captain Marvel is set to hit theaters on March 8, 2019.
