Dove Cameron’s Character On Agents Of SHIELD Officially Revealed

Disney Channel star Dove Cameron was announced to be joining the fifth season of Agents of SHIELD last fall, with her role being disclosed. But the mystery is officially over as Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Cameron is set to play Ruby Hale, daughter of General Hale (Catherine Dent).

Ruby is described as a young intelligent and cunning woman who has a “mysterious” obsession with Daisy Johnson. For those who may not recall, her mother was the general who ended up killing her two subordinates. Time will tell how Ruby plays into the ongoing season.

“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, Henry Simmons as Agent Alphonso “Mack” MacKenzie and Natalia Cordova-Buckley as Elena “Yo-Yo” Rodriguez.

Guest starring are Jeff Ward as Deke, Eve Harlow as Tess, Dominic Rains as Kasius, Florence Faivre as Sinara, Joel Stoffer as Enoch, Max E. Williams as Tye, Coy Stewart as Flint, Tunisha Hubbard as Ava, Ryan R. Moos as Kree doctor, Luke Massey as Hek-Sel and Jay Hunter as Kree watch commander.
