After multiple delays, Disney’s The New Mutants has set a new release date for August 28, 2020.

The film was originally set to premiere in April 2018 but was pushed back for multiple reasons including the Disney-Fox merger and theatre closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This marks the film’s fifth scheduled release date.

Despite its release troubles, the film features big-name talent like Maisie Williams and Anya-Taylor Joy and promises a horror twist to the superhero genre.
