Ever since it was revealed that the name of the family that The Gifted would be focusing on was “Strucker”, it got a lot of people’s attention. Not only because of Baron Von Strucker but more because of his children Andrea and Andreas.

Now it is 100% official that the choice of the Strucker name was no coincidence. FOX released the official description for episode 8 of the new X-Men drama and it reveals that the twins are indeed making their live-action debuts.

Paul Cooper and Caitlin Mehner will portray Andreas and Andrea respectively in “threat of eXtinction” which will air on November 20. The synopsis teases that Reed will discover a major secret about his family’s past, which may have to do with the twins.

The synopsis also reveals that Scream Queens star Skyler Samuels will guest star as “Esme”. It remains to be seen whether or not Gifted‘s Esme is the same as the Marvel mutant Esme Cuckoo.

  1. Of course it’s all about the male lead. He has direct connection to the comics, his backstory is more thought out while Caitlin is barely connected to the plot and she’ll serve only as a mutant’s helper monkey who is mostly worried about the kids. Sorry, a badass helper monkey.
I feel very bad for Amy Acker. She’s a good person and an amazing actress why they think that it’s okay to treat her like this?

  2. And they are introducing Interpol??? 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 Gimme Banshee, Gifted! Gimme! They already have Roderick Campbell. Keep bringing the British (well, comic origin) characters!
