Marvel Studios is about to have some significant legends joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. One of the many upcoming Disney+ shows in the works is Secret Invasion, adapting the famous Marvel comic series to the MCU. Not only will it be a Skrull-heavy arc, but it will bring Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury into his own project. In addition to that, Ben Mendelson is reprising the role of Talos, but they are about to have a couple of exciting actors join the gang.
According to Hollywood Reporter and Variety, Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke and The Crown’s Olivia Colman is reportedly boarding Secret Invasion. Like most Marvel projects, both of their roles are being kept under wrap, setting up the chance that they will play some enormous characters. Their additions follow the casting of Kingsley Ben-Adir who is also attached as the mysterious main villain in the show.
Currently, Secret Invasion has no set premiere date on Disney+ but will likely be coming out sometime in 2022. Are you excited about Clarke and Colman joining the MCU? Who do you think they will play in Secret Invasion? Sound off in the comments!
